The wins keep piling up for the men’s cross country team.

The Brown and Gold took first place in the Bill Fritz Invitational on Saturday with runners placing third through eighth.

The team finished with 25 points, enough for first place over six other teams at the DREAM Park in Logan Township, NJ.

Rowan’s top finisher, Austin Milou, placed third with a time of [27:17:96]. According to the freshman, this was all part of the plan.

“We had a good week of training,” Milou said. “Everyone went out there with a gameplan, and they executed what they wanted to do right.”

The team’s ongoing success has continuously boosted the atmosphere in the locker room.

“There’s just a lot of positive vibes around the team,” Milou said. “We are all excited and we are looking to achieve some big things.”

Next up for the Profs is the Paul Short Run, and there is no doubt from coach Dustin Dimit that the momentum is going to keep on rolling.

“We’re going to talk about what we want to accomplish and who we want to focus on,” Dimit said. “This is going to be our first big test.”

That test, The Paul Short Run, is slated for Oct 5 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
