Welcome to Profs Pick ‘Em! Here, members of The Whit decide their winners of every game (besides Thursday Night Football) of the week, as well as adding their sleeper pick. Enjoy, criticize and let us know how many times you can tally Jon Gruden using the phrases, “This guy right here,” or, “I want to see this guy…” Happy football!

Campana’s sleeper: Miami Dolphins (Campana is 63-22 on the year)

It’s weird to see that I’m putting a team against the Jets as a sleeper, but the Dolphins just haven’t been consistent. New York played New England hard last week, but then reminded us as to why they are the “same ‘ole Jets.” I think they’ll find a way to show us that again this week. Being a Jets fan, this is painful to write.

Devine’s sleeper: Arizona Cardinals (Devine is 53-32 on the year)

The Cardinals showed they are a rejuvenated team with Adrian Peterson in the backfield. That’s the kind of fire they needed, as they are no longer one-dimensional through the air. I’m giving them the win over LA.

Decker’s sleeper: Los Angeles Chargers (Decker is 44-41 on the year)

Melvin Gordon has caught fire and the Broncos defense wasn’t up to standard against a backup Giants offense. The Chargers are starting to piece it together and I think they will win in a close game.

Drame’s sleeper: Los Angeles Chargers (Drame is 48-37 on the year)

The Broncos had trouble dealing with a hobbled New York Giants squad with a subpar offensive line and an aging quarterback. Not to mention Roger Lewis was the number one wideout. The Chargers should come out and avenge their Week One misstep behind the surging play of Melvin Gordon.

Kass’ sleeper: New York Giants (Kass is 45-40 on the year)

My sleeper this week is the Giants. I feel like with Ben McAdoo giving up play calling duties, the offense can roll.

Leady is 49-36 on the year. No sleeper this week.
