The weather is getting cooler and crunchy brown leaves cover the sidewalks — flu season is here. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused this flu season to be unpredictable, according to health officials. While countries in the Southern Hemisphere had a relatively mild season, health officials say it’s important to follow COVID-19 guidelines because they also protect against the influenza virus.
