The Glassboro Council held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 10 where they discussed the retirement of two Glassboro employees.
Firstly, the mayor and council acknowledged and congratulated Emmanuel Brooks, who retired from the Glassboro Highway Department after over 30 years of service.
“Hard-working, dedicated, and dependable are all terms that are used when describing your work ethic,” Glassboro Mayor John Wallace III said. “I cannot thank you enough for your unwavering service to our municipality over these past 30 years.”
The council also accepted a letter of resignation from Diane Camiolo of the Glassboro Zoning Board of Adjustment. Camiolo also served for over 30 years.
Councilman Andrew Halter began the praise for the Boro in Lights, which took place on Friday, Dec. 6. The other council members shared admiration for the event.
The next council meeting is scheduled for Jan. 14, 2025.
