At approximately noon today, an incident involving a student occurred at the Rowan Boulevard parking garage, as confirmed by Rowan Public Safety.
A male student fell from the parking garage near Barnes & Noble and is in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital, according to an email to the university community by Joe Cardona, the vice president for university relations. Cardona declined to comment about the incident outside of the information provided in the email.
Glassboro Police Department also gave no comment regarding the incident, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Update: Since the publication of this article, members of the Rowan University community, including Wellness Center Director of Student Health Services Scott Woodside, have gathered in light of this incident to discuss the state of mental health assistance on campus.
