Raising Cane’s gained notoriety through social media sites such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. With some videos garnering millions of views. Content such as eating challenges, Mukbang, and ASMR have helped propagate Raising Cane’s into the mainstream.
“It’s a lot better than the competition,” said Kellen Kaiser, a First-year Computer Science major. “I’ll be going 100%.”
The Glassboro location will be the 4th of 7 planned Raising Cane’s locations built in New Jersey. The first Raising Cane’s was constructed in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since then, they’ve grown to 800 locations nationally.
