About Us
The Whit has been Rowan University’s student-run newspaper since 1938. Through the years it has won a variety of awards and has served as an important stepping stone for aspiring journalism students. Covering a multitude of issues and events around the expanding university and Glassboro area, The Whit continues to strive for the utmost integrity and timeliness in its reporting. Our print copy is made available every Thursday, on a 13-week basis during each semester, and can be found on Rowan’s Glassboro campus. The Whit Online serves as a digital extension of the newspaper that provides a space for extensive coverage, visual media, and discussion with members of the Rowan community.
