The outdoor season has come to an end for the Profs, as they wrapped up the season at the NCAA Division III Championships from May 21 to May 23 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
After taking home the national title in the indoor season, the men’s team finishes the outdoor season with a solid second-place finish, with 85 points, as first-place University of Wisconsin-La Crosse totaled 106 points and won both women’s and men’s titles.
In the javelin throw, Damitrius Hester won, with a throw of 74.94 meters, breaking the school record and a new No.2 Division III all-time mark.
Hester became the 44th national champion in the program’s history, and just the sixth to win in the javelin event.
David Brown was also able to capture the high jump, with a 2.15-meter attempt.
In the women’s event, Gabriella Pagano was able to race her way into the All-American second-team in the 5000 meters, where she placed 16th.
Ava Reardon was also able to make the second-team All-American, finishing 10th in the javelin throw.
